With a third album on the way, Spektrum are back. The 4 piece electro-punk Londoners from indie label StopStart are recording a third album to follow up to their last release Death At The Gymkhana Club
Spektrum are fronted by the prodigal Lola Olafisoye, armed with the wit of Peaches and the vocals of Macy Gray. I’ve not heard anything like her. She’s a powerhouse that could propel Spektrum out of the underground.
Backed by funky bass and edgy east end beats Spektrum‘s first release of their new material, I’ve Done it Now, is a titillating teaser of what’s to come. They’ve also let one of my favourite producers, Entrepreneurs, loose on the track. It’s a wicked remix and here for you to download courtesy of StopStart:
