SolarSolarCanadian duo Dan Drysdale and Angela Drysdale are producing mesmerisingly beautiful dream pop asĀ SolarSolar.

If you miss the glory days of trip-hop then SolarSolar‘s take on one of Bristol’s most famous exports will not disappoint.

Angela Drysdale’s vocals are exquisite and haunting yet clear and despite having a multitude of layers and events in the tracks, they don’t sound busy having been sculptured seamlessly.

It Should Begin reminds me of some sort of mash up of Bjork’s Bachelorette and White Town’s Your Woman with it’s repeating riff, opening up to a soaring middle. Anyway, make your own comparisons if you choose to:
