Birmingham’s Hoopla Blue have just released Seams, their second only track to the world ever. It’s brilliant. Whimsical lyrics and dream like riffs that are hautingly engaging.
Considering this is such early output, I can’t wait to hear what more there is to come. There are hints of Mansun, Joy Division and even a bit of Jarvis Cocker – with a classic British melancholy that’s far from depressing. Unique, and beautiful.
